Behringer X32 Powers Daryl Hall's New Club – Daryl’s House
10/31/2014, Los Angeles, CA – Behringer X32 Digital Mixing Consoles and a comprehensive P16 Personal Monitoring System have been installed in Daryl Hall’s new club, Daryl’s House, a restaurant and music venue opening this month in Pawling, New York.
The new club will be the primary shooting location for the award winning Live from Daryl’s House show (LFDH), which broadcasts online and on the VH1 and Palladia TV networks. Serving as a live performance venue for a variety of A-list artists, many of whom have appeared on the show, Daryl's House will also offer a top-notch culinary experience that showcases many of the dishes from LFDH’s food segment.
Behringer X32s are installed at both FOH and monitor positions, and inputs are split digitally over a single Ethernet cable via the consoles' onboard AES50 ports. The P16 system is fed directly from the monitor position X32, and that console can also be controlled remotely by an iPad or PC from FOH in the absence of a monitor engineer. Musicians on stage will be using a combination of traditional wedges and in-ear monitoring and it’s for this reason, that after two years of flawless performance on the road, long-time Hall & Oates Producer / Engineer Peter Moshay chose the X32 and P16 systems for the venue.
“I want every musician to have easy control over their own mix, something rarely possible in a club," Moshay commented. “The X32 provides all of the signal processing you need with reliable remote control, and the seamless integration with the P16 system is the perfect way to give the musicians exactly what they need in their individual monitor mixes. This high level of flexibility frees me up to attend to other tasks during the show."
The new Behringer system will begin making musical history today, when Daryl’s House celebrates its grand opening with, "Daryl's House Presents: Hall-oween & Oates". The show will broadcast live at 9:00PM EST on Yahoo.com. For more information, visit: http://www.livefromdarylshouse.com
